Digital Preservation and Archiving Policy

IJICES is committed to maintaining access to its published research and preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.

Online Archive

The journal maintains an online archive of its published issues and articles on its official website. Published records should retain their bibliographic details, publication dates, article files, and associated corrections or retraction notices.

Backup and Continuity

The journal will maintain appropriate backup and recovery arrangements to reduce the risk of data loss caused by technical failures, accidental deletion, or other disruptions.

Long-Term Preservation

IJICES aims to strengthen long-term preservation through recognized digital archiving services and repositories. The journal will identify specific preservation services on its website when participation has been established and can be verified.

Website Migration or Disruption

If the journal changes its publishing platform or experiences a prolonged interruption, reasonable steps will be taken to preserve article files, metadata, and links to the scholarly record.

Corrections and Retractions

Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions will be associated with the original publication record wherever possible. Articles will not be silently altered in a way that conceals substantive post-publication changes.

The journal will periodically review its preservation arrangements and update this policy as its archiving infrastructure develops.
