Publicaiton Process
The International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Engineering Sciences (IJICES) follows a structured publication process designed to ensure the quality, originality, academic relevance, and ethical integrity of all published research. The process begins when an author submits a manuscript through the journal's online submission system. Authors are required to ensure that their manuscript complies with the journal's submission guidelines, scope, formatting requirements, ethical standards, and originality requirements before submission.
Following submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening. The editorial team evaluates whether the manuscript falls within the scope of IJICES and meets the journal's basic requirements regarding originality, academic quality, structure, research methodology, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that are outside the journal's scope or do not meet essential submission requirements may be declined at this stage without proceeding to external peer review.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial assessment are normally assigned to appropriate independent reviewers with relevant expertise. IJICES generally uses a double-blind peer-review process to promote objective and impartial evaluation. Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, significance, technical quality, methodology, analysis, clarity, references, and contribution to the relevant field. Reviewers may recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection, while the final editorial decision remains the responsibility of the journal's editorial team.
If revisions are requested, authors are expected to carefully address the reviewers' comments and submit a revised version within the specified period. Authors may also be required to provide a response explaining how each significant reviewer comment has been addressed. Depending on the extent of the revisions, the revised manuscript may undergo additional editorial assessment or be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation.
Once a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review and editorial process and has been formally accepted, it proceeds to the production stage. The accepted manuscript may undergo language editing, formatting, reference checking, and other necessary editorial or production checks. Authors may be asked to review the final proofs and identify any typographical or factual errors before publication.
After completion of the production and proofing stages, the final version of the article is published online through the official IJICES platform. The published article receives its relevant bibliographic information and, where applicable, a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) or other permanent publication identifier. The article then becomes part of the journal's permanent scholarly record and may be indexed, archived, and made available through appropriate scholarly services.
Throughout the publication process, IJICES maintains principles of confidentiality, academic integrity, transparency, and fairness. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts at any stage if significant ethical, originality, authorship, research-integrity, or publication-related concerns are identified. Publication decisions are based on the scholarly and ethical assessment of the manuscript and are not determined by commercial considerations.
Through this structured process, IJICES aims to provide authors with a professional and rigorous pathway from manuscript submission to peer review, editorial decision, production, and final publication while maintaining the quality and integrity of the scholarly record.
