Research Data Availability and Reproducibility Policy
IJICES encourages transparent research practices that allow readers to understand, assess, and, where feasible, reproduce published findings.
Data Availability Statements
Authors should provide a data availability statement describing whether the data supporting their findings are publicly available, available upon reasonable request, included in the article or supplementary materials, or unavailable because of legal, ethical, privacy, contractual, or other legitimate restrictions.
Where datasets, software, source code, algorithms, or other supporting materials are publicly available, authors are encouraged to provide stable repository links and persistent identifiers where available.
Reproducibility
Authors should describe research methods, computational environments, model configurations, experimental procedures, and analytical steps with sufficient detail to support appropriate evaluation and reproducibility.
For computing and engineering research, authors are encouraged to provide relevant source code, model parameters, benchmarks, test procedures, and supplementary materials when legally and ethically permissible.
Confidential or Restricted Data
Research data must not be shared where doing so would breach participant consent, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, or applicable laws. Authors should explain relevant restrictions and, where possible, describe alternative means of verifying the findings.
Editorial Assessment
Editors may request clarification, supporting documentation, or access to relevant research materials when necessary to assess the reliability of a manuscript or investigate concerns.
Research Integrity
Fabrication, falsification, selective reporting, and deliberate misrepresentation of data or computational results are unacceptable. Concerns identified before or after publication will be handled under the journal's publication-ethics procedures.
