Archive Policy
The International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Engineering Sciences (IJICES) is committed to maintaining a reliable, permanent, and accessible scholarly record of all articles published by the journal. The journal preserves published content to ensure that research remains available to researchers, academics, students, and other members of the scholarly community over the long term.
All articles formally published in IJICES are archived as part of the journal's permanent scholarly record. The journal maintains electronic records of published articles, including the article text, bibliographic information, publication details, and associated metadata. Published content is preserved in its final version of record and remains accessible through the journal's official website, subject to the journal's publication and access policies.
IJICES follows a digital preservation approach designed to reduce the risk of permanent loss of published scholarly content resulting from technical failures, website changes, or other unforeseen circumstances. The journal may use appropriate external repositories, indexing services, institutional repositories, or other recognized digital preservation services to support the long-term accessibility and preservation of its published content.
In the event that the journal website becomes temporarily unavailable or undergoes significant technical changes, reasonable measures will be taken to maintain access to previously published articles and their bibliographic records. The journal may migrate archived content to an updated publishing platform when necessary, while preserving the original publication information and citation records.
Articles that require correction, retraction, or other post-publication action will not normally be removed from the journal archive. Instead, the original publication record will be retained, with an appropriate correction, retraction notice, or other editorial statement clearly associated with the article. This approach ensures transparency and preserves the integrity of the scholarly record.
Authors should retain copies of their submitted and published manuscripts and are encouraged to maintain their own research records. IJICES may also permit or support the preservation of published articles through recognized repositories and scholarly archiving services, subject to applicable copyright, licensing, and journal policies.
The journal regularly reviews its digital preservation and archiving practices and may adopt additional recognized preservation mechanisms as the journal develops. Through these measures, IJICES aims to ensure the continued availability, authenticity, and integrity of its published scholarly record for future generations of researchers.
