Advertising, Revenue, and Editorial Independence Policy
IJICES maintains a separation between financial or commercial considerations and scholarly editorial decisions.
Revenue Sources
The journal's revenue may include disclosed article processing charges, publisher support, institutional support, sponsorship, or other legitimate sources, as applicable. Information about relevant revenue arrangements should be transparent.
Editorial Independence
Acceptance, rejection, and revision decisions are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance, ethical compliance, and the results of editorial assessment and peer review.
Payment of a publication charge, sponsorship, advertising, or other financial support does not guarantee acceptance or influence the outcome of peer review.
Advertising
Any advertising accepted by the journal must be clearly distinguishable from scholarly content. Advertisements must not interfere with editorial decisions, misrepresent the journal's activities, or create a misleading impression of endorsement.
Advertising arrangements and acceptance decisions must be managed independently of manuscript evaluation.
Sponsored Content and Special Issues
Sponsored activities and special issues must follow the journal's normal ethical, editorial, and peer-review requirements. Commercial support must not determine which research findings are accepted for publication.
IJICES will review its revenue and advertising practices periodically to maintain transparency, independence, and trust in its published research.
